Chicken Wreath

Totally slacked on dinner today! I have no meat thawed and ready to go, no idea what to make... I walked around the kitchen for 10 minutes trying to figure it out and finally decided to make this!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can chicken (drained)
  • 1 pkg frozen broccoli florets, cooked
  • 1 cup brown rice, cooked (I used leftovers)
  • 1 clove garlic (pressed or minced as fine as I can get it)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook the rice and steam the broccoli.
  3. Combine ingredients, minus the crescent rolls, in a big bowl.
  4. Lay our crescent rolls in the shape of a wreath, pointy ends out, as shown to the side.
  5. Scoop chicken mixture onto each triangle and fold over to make a wreath.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until dough is browned lightly.

I was going to make this for some last minute out of town guests... that in fact never came in town... so my husband and i enjoyed it together last night. It was easy, affordable, and a great comfort-dinner!
