Carrot-Apple Wok Pork

Trying to change things up from all the chicken I make... :)

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 pork cutlets
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1/2 large yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • salt, to taste
  • sprinkle of nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  1. heat up oil and butter in wok.
  2. brown onions and garlic.
  3. add pork and lightly brown on both sides.
  4. add chicken broth, OJ, and carrots.
  5. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 15 mins.
  6. Add apples, recover, cook for another 10 mins.
Served with pan fried potatoes. Yum!
