Breakfast Apple Croissant Crisp

The plan had been to make chocolate chip croissants (using refrigerated croissant rolls), but when I opened up the package, the croissants were all broken into pieces.... so I decided to make something with it, using the million apples I have in the fridge ;)

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 package croissant rolls
  • 2 apples, cored and sliced thinly
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • cinnamon
  • Cooking spray or butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375 (or according to croissant roll package directions).
  2. Generously spray or butter a round baking dish.
  3. Lay croissant rolls down until the entire dish is covered. Press to seal cracks and even it out.
  4. Lay a layer of apple slices on top of rolls.
  5. Mix cinnamon and sugar together, then sprinkle over apples.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until croissant rolls are cooked through.
