Easy Pot Roast and Veggies

Recipe modified from Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook: Feasting with your Slow Cooker by Dawn J Ranck and Phyllis Pellman Good.
INGREDIENTS

3-4 lb chuck roast
4 medium potatoes, cubed
1/2 lb bag of baby carrots
4 celery ribs, sliced
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
3 cups water

DIRECTIONS

Put roast, potatoes, carrots and celery in slow cooker.
Add onion soup mix and water.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
