Yum!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups steel cut oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 20 oz can apple pie filling
- 6 c water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker really well with cooking spray so the oatmeal won't stick.
- Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and mix well.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Enjoy!
*I'm eating it right now and it's good, but a little bland. I think next time I'll make it either with milk or apple juice, or maybe a mix of apple juice and water....and probably add a bit of salt.
